Welcome to the beach!
One of the best beaches on the island is right outside your door! Just head out and around the corner and you are there. As you pass through the buildings you will see a condo rep with a stack of beach chairs. Just give them your unit number (F206) and, if requested, the passcode sent to you in your welcome email and they will set up your chair(s) for you.
Once there, lay back and enjoy!
Please be respectful and clean up any trash you might have. Also, the coral is very fragile, so only step on sand.
You also have access to the pool on the grounds. This can be a great place to relax in the evening looking out over the water.
**There are no lifeguards at either the beach or pool – swim at your own risk, and please follow all posted signs**
If you get hungry while enjoying your beach day, you can hit up the Sapphire Beach Bar. On some days, the wait staff will come to the beach to take orders. There is a small fee for this service, so if you don’t mind, you can save a few dollars and go up and order yourself.
Depending on the crowds, there may be beach vendors with local art. They are very friendly and won’t bother you again should you decline.
Be sure to take a stroll around the marina. There are several options there, from sailing adventures to jet skis.
Should you need to do laundry, you can use the token operated machines at the marina. Be sure to go to the marina office to purchase your tokens during regular hours. Remember, you will be on island time, so be patient with office closures etc. You will find big trash dumpsters at the beginning of the marina. Unfortunately there is very little recycling here and none at the resort.
When you arrive, please inform the security guard you will be staying in F206 and the dates of your stay. You should get a parking pass. If not, that is ok, it just means they are not very busy and not requiring parking passes.
